Terms of Use

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using TrafficScent (trafficscent.com, the "Service") and the rights and duties of the Service and its users. By using the Service you agree to these terms.
This English translation is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
1. What the Service offers
The Service is a free information service that gathers publicly available information, such as popular community posts, trending YouTube videos, news, blogs, app and game rankings and AI model benchmarks, and shows it as lists with links to the originals.
No account is needed. The Service also offers content written by the TrafficScent team itself, such as notices and the development log.
2. Availability and changes
The Service aims to be available at all times. Maintenance, outages or changes on a source site may still pause some features or lists, or delay their updates.
The Service may change as operations require. Changes that matter to users are announced in the notices or the development log.
3. External content and links
The posts, videos, articles and images in the lists belong to their original authors and sources. The Service shows only what a list needs, such as the title, source, time of posting, the view, upvote and comment counts the source publishes and a preview image, plus a link; the original is read on the source site.
Each source is responsible for the content, accuracy and lawfulness of its originals; the Service does not guarantee them. Using a source site is subject to that site's own terms and policies.

4. Ads and affiliate links
To cover its costs the Service may show ads, such as Google AdSense. Ad-related cookies are explained in the privacy policy.
Some product and shop links on the deals page are Coupang Partners and LinkPrice affiliate links. When you buy through them the Service may receive a commission, and the page says so.
Product information and prices are as of when they were collected and may change at the seller at any time. Purchases, payment, delivery, exchanges and refunds are between you and the seller; the Service is not a party to them.
5. Posts by users
Posts and comments you write on the Service are visible to everyone. You keep the copyright; the Service uses them only as far as needed to publish and show them on the Service.
The following may be removed or hidden without notice:
- Posts that defame others or infringe copyright or other rights
- Posts that reveal another person's personal data without consent
- Unlawful content, obscene material, or posts that incite violence or hatred
- Advertising, spam, or the same content posted repeatedly
6. Prohibited conduct
You must not do the following, and the Service may automatically limit or block such requests:
- Sending excessive automated requests in a short time that disrupt the Service
- Trying to get around the Service's security features or request limits
- Impersonating others, or using the Service for anything unlawful
7. Limits of liability
The Service is free and does not guarantee that the information, rankings and figures taken from its sources are accurate, complete or current. Rankings and figures follow what each source publishes.
Unless it acted intentionally or with gross negligence, the Service is not liable for losses arising from using it, from external links, or from dealings with sellers.
8. Privacy
The personal data the Service processes and your rights are set out in the privacy policy.
9. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the changes and their effective date are posted on this page at least 7 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We will first try to resolve any dispute about the Service by discussion; a lawsuit goes to the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
