SvelteKit 3 Engine Upgrade & Feed Cache/Link Enhancement Notice
Hello from the TrafficScent Systems Team.
We have upgraded our platform engine to SvelteKit 3 and overhauled our edge caching architecture for improved performance and scalability.
Key Updates:
1. SvelteKit 3 Migration: Adopted modern runtime APIs with strengthened Cloudflare Workers platform bindings for reliable edge rendering.
2. Feed Cache Synchronization: Aligned crawler KV edge cache keys with web endpoints, slashing initial YouTube and feed latency from 2.6s down to 58ms.
3. Normalized D1 Filter Queries: Fixed missing post items when switching tabs (e.g. Korean Popularity) by standardizing site alias mappings.
4. Direct External Links: Clicking channel names or outlet logos now opens the authentic YouTube channel, subreddit, or publisher homepage in a new tab.
5. 5-Minute Worker In-Memory Cache: Introduced in-memory caching for trending keywords and visitor metrics, reducing backend DB load.
Thank you for using TrafficScent!
