Content and Copyright Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
TrafficScent gathers the posts and information people are talking about across many sites so they can be found in one place. To respect the original authors' rights, this policy explains what we show and how much, how sources are credited, and how to ask for an item to be removed.
This English translation is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
1. What we show
A list shows only what is needed to find the original:
- The title, the source (site and board, or channel) and the time of posting
- The view, upvote and comment counts the source publishes
- The preview image (thumbnail) the source provides
- A link to the original
We do not copy the body of a post. Selecting a title takes you to the source site, where the original is read.
App and game rankings and AI benchmarks show the charts and figures published by each store and by Artificial Analysis, with the source and reference date. AI Performance introduces public posts on X (formerly Twitter) with their author and a link to the original; images and videos are loaded directly from X's servers.
2. How sources are credited
- Every item names its source site or author and links to the original.
- Only posts and information that anyone can see are covered; private posts are never collected.
- Some product links on the deals page are affiliate links, and the page says so. See section 4 of the terms of use.
3. Collection and retention
A crawler checks each source's public listings and feeds about every 15 minutes. Collected list entries are deleted automatically after 7 days for communities, news and blogs, and after 30 days for YouTube.
Posts whose original was deleted are detected automatically and dropped for some sources, such as Blind. For any other source we remove them as soon as we are asked.
4. Removal and copyright requests
Original authors, source site operators and other rights holders can ask for an item to be removed from the lists. Write to contact
Please include:
- The address of the original, or of the TrafficScent page where the item appears
- The reason for the request
- Something that shows you hold the rights (the account that posted the original, your organization, etc.)
- An email address for our reply
Once we have checked the request, we remove the item without delay, make sure the same original is not collected again, and let you know.
5. Posts by users and the team's own content
The rights to posts and comments users write on the Service, and the rules for them, follow section 5 of the terms of use.
Content written by the TrafficScent team, such as notices and the development log, is copyright TrafficScent. Quoting it with credit and a link is welcome.
